LOTOS Group in 2013 announced the first pilot grant competition addressed to Enactus Poland University Teams. The aim of the program was to support interesting projects that would be alaigned with CSR strategy of the LOTOS Group. This year’s competition has been extended to all student organizations registered in Poland, and projects can be realized in all Poland regions.
– This time we received 6 applications. We had a serious dilemma what decision to take. All the projects were really good, their goals are to initiate change processes, improve the social condition of the selected group of beneficiaries or the environment – emphasizes Jowita Twardowska. Communication and CSR director in LOTOS Group.
The jury awarded the grant (of 10 000 zł total value) for two student organizations: Enactus Team from Warsaw University of Life Sciences for the project ENACTUS Aphasia and the Enactus Team from University of Gdańsk, who prepared a recycling and design of new furniture project.
– We are very curious how will the winning projects develop. We hope that through awarded grants, students will spread their wings with their initiatives – adds Jowita Twardowska.
